Kolukkumalai is home to the world’s highest tea plantation, located about 7,900 feet (2,400 meters) above sea level near Munnar, on the Tamil Nadu–Kerala border. This stunning hilltop is famous for its fresh mountain air, golden sunrise views, and the unique flavour of its hand-picked organic tea.

The high altitude, cool climate, and misty atmosphere give Kolukkumalai tea a special aroma and strong taste that cannot be found anywhere else. The traditional tea factory here still uses the old orthodox tea-making method, preserving the authentic essence of tea.
